VISITING THE FIRST GUEST ON IRA’S EVERYTHING BAGEL!

What better way to connect with your first guest on Ira’s Everything Bagel, Chef Sonia El-Nawal, than by visiting her new spot, Bodega Bagel, in Henderson, Nevada? She started the show with me on May 13, 2021. Sonia was the perfect person as my guest, since we had bagels in common. Mine are conceptual, but her bagels are handmade. She also offers other breakfast and lunch items, including her popular shakshouka.

Bagel Bytes

“The word Bagel comes from the German word “bougel,” meaning “bracelet,” and by way of the Yiddish “beygl” which means “ring.” So, if it is not in the shape of a ring or bracelet, it is NOT a bagel.” – bagelbakerygainesville.com
