Noshing With Worbey and Farrell – August 25, 2022

Internationally Acclaimed Concert Pianists

Authors, Well Strung: Terrific Tales from Two Turns

This week, Ira spoke with Worbey and Farrell, internationally acclaimed concert pianists, who are also authors of Well Strung: Terrific Tales from Two Turns. In this “key” episode of Ira’s Everything Bagel, Steven and Kevin talk about starting to work together by accident; their synergy; why their new book is like a conversation; why they don’t take anything for granted; how they changed the comedy in the show; their most important rule for performing as a double act; and why they created a business that features your name in music.

Worbey & Farrell have played with the world’s leading symphony orchestras, achieved more than a million hits on YouTube, and entertained in over 150 countries around the globe with their barnstorming blend of sparky comedy and piano playing.

Their show includes their own arrangements of Carnival of the Animals, Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Widor’s gargantuan “Toccata,” their very own Paganini Variations, an hilariously unique take on Beethoven’s “Fur Elise” and their very own “Piano Concerto” accompanied by a full symphony orchestra via video link.
