Noshing With Dana K. White – June 3, 2021

Author, Decluttering at the Speed of Life and How to Manage Your Home Without Losing Your Mind

This week, Ira spoke with Dana K. White, author of “Decluttering at the Speed of Life” and “How to Manage Your Home Without Losing Your Mind.” In this tidy episode of Ira’s Everything Bagel, White talks about recognizing the difference between organizing and decluttering (organizing is just trying to keep all your stuff);  coming to the realization that you never finish decluttering; the two questions you ask yourself to get the declutter ball rolling; her breakthrough concept of containers and what they are really used for; acknowledging that you can’t keep everything; why creative people don’t see limits; and understanding how much your house can hold.

In an attempt to get her own home under control, Dana started blogging as Nony (short for anonymous, since this was her deep, dark secret) back in 2009. Today, as a writer, speaker, blogger, and decluttering expert, she shares realistic home management strategies and a message of hope for the hopelessly messy.

Bagel Bytes

“What sets bagels apart from other types of bread is the fact that they are boiled. Some imitations are steamed, but they do not have the same chewy and crunchy crust and are not true bagels.” – betweenroundsbagels.com
