Noshing With Cynthia Meyers – December 9, 2021

Owner & Founder, Confluence Financial Planning, LLC

This week, Ira spoke with Cynthia Meyers, owner and founder of Confluence Financial Planning, LLC, based in Sacramento. In this planning episode of Ira’s Everything Bagel, Cynthia talks about the importance of living a balanced life; why goals are important in order to plan for your financial future; why it’s never too late to get started; knowing the purpose behind putting money away; the difference between planning and investments; why it’s important to check on the beneficiaries on all of your retirement accounts; and the importance of recognizing your values in overall planning.

Cynthia is owner of Confluence Financial Planning, LLC (formerly Cynthia S. Meyers, MBA, CFP®).  She is active in running the company, advising clients, and mentoring. Her writings and quotes have appeared in many local and national periodicals and books, including Fortune, McCalls, and The Sacramento Bee. For five years, she authored the column, “Meyers on Money,” which appeared in Sacramento Business Journal.

She continues to appear in the Sacramento Business Journal as one of the top Sacramento financial planning firms.

From 2010 to present Cynthia has been the recipient of the “Five Star Wealth Manager Award,” which appears in Sacramento Magazine.

Bagel Bytes

“The hole in the middle of your bagel is no mistake. In fact, this bread was baked with a hole so vendors could slide them on to dowel rods, making it easy to transport them to wherever they would be selling their bagel that day.” – romper.com
